Tasco TS624 help

Does anyone have experience with the older Japenese Tasco scopes?

I recieved this one on an Anschutz I bought and the ocular lens is not straight inline with the tube.

If you look at the magnification ring you can see it is not plumb. Everything works as it should and clarity is very good, just does not look right.

Is this normal for these scopes?

Looks like the mag-ring was cross-threaded, so maybe dis-assembled at some point. B4 you 'back whence' it, have you tried to see if it's accurate (assuming you have an accurate rifle) ?

An old rifle I purchase some time ago had the same thing.
Straighten'd it and it worked fine.

Stuck it on a 22.

Great for shewt'in pine cones.

The magnification ring is only bolted/pinned on, (through the ring and into the mag adjuster) I have had the ocular ring and lock ring backed out far enough to slid the mag ring back, and everything appears alright, just bent

Scope actually works as it should, just not my thing, and I don't think I can sell as is, already replaced with an Arken EP4L 6-24x50
