You can use the regular 12 gram Crosman or similar CO2 powerlets with the Tau 7. You can also use the bulk CO2 filling gear that come with one when purchased new. It's been a while since I shot with a Tau 7 but I'm thinking that there were at least 50 shots, perhaps as high as 60-70. They are very nice air pistols, and they have terrific triggers.
The regular powerlet work well. You save a lot of money if you buy the big packs (about 24 units) that you can get at Canadian Tire. It's even cheaper if you have friends with CO2 tanks that you can use to fill the bulk tank that comes with the gun. Great pistol by the way.
Don't forget to #### it before you put in the new CO2 container or the gas will immediately vent out of the barrel.
