License built production. No biggie really, but it could get the Tavor onto the US market (if Taurus is using it's US plant to produce the receiver) Then again maybe Brazil is looking at adopting a new rifle, so they don't need US production.

the fact that Taurus is a Miami (US) company it doesnt matter were they are made they can be brought into the US mainland

whats even funnier is that even if they are allowed into the USA the USA would never allow thier export into canada.... 5.56mm chambers and so on.

the USA is ####ed.

Since Taurus is such a pain to get in Canada, should we really care anyway?

Yes you should care. If Taurus could produce the Tavor in the US it would make it available for the US market which is the biggest in the world . As soon as this would happen accessories would pop up like mushrooms after the rain.
Then perhaps you wouldn't have to pay 300$ for a 30$ rail...
