taurus 24/7 OSS

Well, my experience isn't limited to only one gun. I've handled and shot almost all makes, models, sizes and calibers of available shotguns, rifles and handguns. I also own a sizable and varied collection of same.

That being said, I also own a Taurus PT24/7 Pro in 9mm and it is my carry/go to gun here in SWFL. My informed take on this pistol:

Excellent shootability and ease of function
Excellent ergonomics and controls
Points nice, comes back on target quickly
Heinie Combat night sights
17 rd mag capacity (ya, baby!)
Very accurate (in my hands anyway)
Excellent price/value

This is the piece I trust my life to here.

Enough said.

Where did you get that figure 108mm? Taurus's website and their online manual claims it as 4.125"(104mm). A member of another forum actually measured it and it was 104mm. Is there a special barrel for Canada? I am thinking of buying one. Any dealers here?
The info I posted was a direct quote from the Taurus Cust Svc in Brazil from an email I received earlier this year when I was researching the pistol. I would assume them to be fairly reliable. If in fact the bbl was only 104mm it would be classified as Prohib and not allowed for importation. As for dealers, there are getting to be more and more. Depending on what part of the country you are in, Gobles in east, P&D and Wholesale in the west all carry the product.
Taurus had a reputation of being less than desirable some years back, but have turned their operation around and are producing some very nice products. I personally own 4 in various models/calibers and have never had the slightest hiccup with any of them.
Cheers:)
