Hi, i would like owners opinions on the Taurus 24/7 Pro. No local gun stores have them around me so i'd like to hear from people who have them/have handled them. I know all about the lack of Taurus parts/service available if you need it (I have 3 Taurus's and havn't yet) so please leave that out. I've only had one polymer gun and it was crap but I am a big fan of Taurus products. Also, where's the best place/price to get one (best i've seen is $600). Thanks in advance

The early ones (9mm)had some issues(feeding/jams) and certain earlier models in 45ACP also were problematic. That was in the first year and a design mod has since changed all that. Have a look on some of the US forums. They are held in very high regard. In fact, there is a great deal on one in the EE now. Average retail price is around the upper side of $600 mark but some deals are around. Shooterschoice.ca was offering for $600 tax in/shipped.

Excellent information buddy. Answered a previous thread i had made about which store had Taurus 24/7 for $600 tax in and shipped too! Unfortunately the cheap 24/7 i think your thinking of sold in a few hours-made an offer but the guy had already sold it. They don't seem to last long on the exchange, plus i only want the 9mm which limits me too.
I like mine, no issues, well built, feels very solid, very comfortable as well
However I can't shoot well with it, never have been able to, so for that reason I haven't taken it out in a loooong time

I just bought one (this february), stainless .40 with new handle... Went shooting and had the best shoot ever! Probably the happiest purchase ever! All parts are nice and disassembling is easy, nice balance, nice trigger, very accurate...
