I might have an opportunity to purchase one of these in .45. Anyone have any experience with these? Thoughts or concerns?

Never much liked Taurus and they don't really have a great track record.
Would not buy unless dirt cheap.

I had a chance to fire one of these many years ago. Probably one of the worst triggers I have ever tried. I actually thought it was broken. It was so mushy and the final break was so unpredictable and it felt like the trigger bar was flexing like on a broken toy dart gun. Save your money for something better.

Depends on the generation. The first generation were not good and had some major issues. The third generation, that they put into the US military procurement competition, were quite good. The long slide and de-cocker work well. Trigger not that much different from a Sig Pro plastic .40. Magazines may need some fitting to feed properly, but stay corrected once fixed.
