Im Thinking About Getting This For My First Handgun, What Do You Guys Think? If Anyone Can Give Me Any Info, Comment, Or Pics That Would Be Great!

Thanks,

Taurus is quite famous for their lack of customer support in Canada. I've experienced this first hand. Are you sure nothing else with a better track record in customer service has caught your eye? I'll name a few of my favourites but please take the time to research prices, check with the CGN sponsored dealers and research customer service. Taurus' when compared to comprable pistols aren't that cheap, when you factor the lack of support despite the lifetime warrantly, you're left stuck.

How about a Smith & Wesson? I'm particularily fond of the K Frame, points in my hand nicely:

You can find the above in stainless but if you want the 66, S&W has one of those too:

Or what about the Colt Python? It's much more pricey due to it not being manufactured anymore but it's a brilliant piece of work.

Goodluck with your search, there are numerous revolvers I didn't mention but I tried to stick close to the aesthetic and power range you were looking for. .357 magnum is nice because you can easily convert to shooting .38 special which has substantially less recoil. I also highly recommend if you haven't already, get your hands on these revolvers and see how they point for you. I never, ever, ever thought I'd be a 1911 fan until the right one dropped into my paw and I fell in love.

What if though? I was lucky fellow CGN members helped me out with my dilemma, otherwise I would still be waiting (three months now and counting) for my PT92 to be fixed. Literally, I haven't cancelled the work order because I still want that replacement part in case the one I currently have stops working. Last time I called Nichols they said they had a gentleman waiting for a similar part and has been waiting for ten months at that point.
