Hoping for some experience and opinions here.

I have read mixed reviews on Taurus revolvers, and many have had terrible experiences right out of the box so I am a bit concerned.

Originally I was looking at a M94 in .22lr, but after reading a whole lot of horror tories regarding this model I have been pushed towards a 990 Tracker, but there are still plenty of bad experiences out there that scare me.

Hoping this thread can lead me to a definitive answer on the topic.

Of course if there is any other similar priced options in a DA .22lr revolver I would love to hear about them, but I have been looking into this for a long time and found this to be the only option at the moment.

I already own a Ruger Single 10, and a MKIII, and would love the SP101 but they are unobtanium right now so don't bother mentioning it any further.

Thanks,
M

Our family has one and it works great but it only has 50 rounds through it. IMHO the grip sucks, but that has already been changed to a Hogue and feel way better. It is big and heavy and fells like a real gun.

FWIW, Location Snap Shots (the officlal Ruger repair depot) is now the warranty and repair depot for Taurus.

I haven't heard of any problems with Taurus. The main complaint used to be that they had no service depot in Canada.
