Any documentation I have on the 917 show them with 4" barrels, so they would simply be a No-No for Canada.

Yes, 4.2" I think...I even knew FRT # for it. it's restricted. Only problem I can think of is that it comes with hi cap mags. but it takes PT92/99 mags since frame is the same.
