Taurus Model 17c

Just bought a Taurus 17 HMR revolver from SIR.Took it to the range last night and found the brass was splitting at the bullet end from excess expansion. Called Taurus directly today and they said it was normal. Anybodyelse have or know of this issue at all?

can you post pics? I'd google search for "taurus 17 problems" see if anything comes up. Also may want ask here - taurusarmed.net

I'd also call Taurus again hoping to speak to someone else and see what they have to say.
