Taurus PT 111 Help please!

I recently cracked the frame of my Taurus PT111 millenium. Because a frame is a licensed item in South Africa, the Taurus agent got hold of a "blank" frame. This is just the polymer "hull" and the trigger and slide rails has to be transferred to the new frame.

Is this a job for a gunsmith or can I attempt it myself?

Is your pistol still under warrantee?
"...a frame is a licensed item..." It is here too. You're essentially building a pistol. Is that legal? Ever done it before?
I'd be inclined to do it myself, but I've completely stripped nd assembled a bunch of assorted firearms. If you're in the least bit concerned about doing it, take it to a smithy.
