Taurus pt 92

Taurus are sold in Canada. Ive seen a couple pt92/100 guns on EE not too long ago... As for new I'm not sure if the distributor is bringing a lot of new pt92 s in because Girsan just as good if not better for less money also Beretta is just a little more.

Yea, I am hoping to get a beretta from the bunch for sale now, fingers crossed, but the prices I see for the Taurus 92 new are from $400 usd to a bit over $500 usd, but none in Canada!

I would look into a slightly used Girsan, they are very well built, and you should be able to find one in the 4-500 range without much trouble.

Hi,

I just bought one! https://www.freedomventures.ca bring them in, but you have to go through a reseller. You can probably get it for between 6-700

I bought the beautiful chromed one. Now it has wooden Hogue grips as well, I love it. It feel like a real gun, not like a plastic toy like most modern polymer 9mm.

One thing to warn of - mags are very difficult to get extras, close to impossible. I'm in the process of adjusting Beretta 92 mags to fit mine.

Buy it - you won't be disappointed. I only had maybe 2-300 rounds on it, but to me it seem very reliable and accurate. I had a total of 2-3 jams so far, but it was during shooting the first 100 rounds, It was just the
mags not feeding properly, but now after using it a bit it has not occurred again.

Thanks, I will contact them. I've asked around so many places and no one has so far pointed me right.

I'm still looking forward to the conversion, if it work well it's cheap with around $30 for third party

Hey taurus rex: Can you tell me how wide the grips are on the t-92 ? I have smaller hands and have not been able to get my hands on one to test the fit. I have heard they are quite wide. My cz85b clone is just a little too big for me but its amazing what a couple of tenths of an inch can make. I also have an np22 the sig 226 clone and am thinking of getting the e2 grips for that as everyone says it makes a ton of difference for smaller hands.

Pt 92 I had came with wood grips and those were pretty wide. Plastic grips are going to be smaller. Same goes for Beretta. Girsans factory grips are very thin.

Hi original grips seem very thin, i believe the original specs are 1,5 inch wide. With the Hogue grips it's definitely thicker, it sits better in my hand now. I can imagine though that as grips, nothing is better than rubber. Wood look damn nice though.
