Taurus PTB 1911 in 9mm any thoughts? I am considering purchasing.

I looked at them and they are an amazing value and look rock solid. The reviews however appeared to suggest that there were jamming issues, the main reason I never bought one.
 
I had one in .45 about 5-6 years ago, it was alright but I wasn't the fan of the front grip serrations. no reliability issues tho
