The seller charges you your provincial tax rate not theirs.

P&D told me on the phone today its 5% even if I am in BC . Is that law? Or is it maybe just from your experience? Have any experience with P&d?

2) if you are selling goods or services out of province, you charge the GST/HST rate based on where the goods are being shipped to. So, for instance, if your business operates in Ontario (HST 13%) and you sell an item online to someone in Nova Scotia (HST 15%), you would charge 15% HST on the sale.

Whoever told you that is wrong. Probably somebody new.

I have purchased several guns and scopes from P&D and pretty certain I was charged Ontario HST.

Their site says they do not collect PST from other provinces but that they do collect HST, however they only mention maritime provinces. Confusing to say the least.

Pretty sure that if you are in a HST province then they have to charge it. I am almost positive this is the law, and having made countless online purchases from different provinces I am always charged Ontario HST.

No no, its all good. You do not live here, so its not like it would be breaking news for you... Actually, I could more or less understand why other provinces HAVN'T heard that we got rid of it lol.

I said 12 % so it might has seemed like HST as well, we have 7% pst

Since I am looking for the same thing in 8 inch, was it $730 for the SS? on the site is says "Matte stainless" Was the stainless 120 more? making it 850? Its cool if you dont want to answer that.

It was $730 for 6.5" at P&D with stainless matte included. No additional charge for stainless. Shipping to Vancouver was $36. All in all an easy transaction. Their service was good.

Nice, thats is hands down the best price I have seen in Canada, funny enough, taurus does not charge extra for the longer model.
