I was browsing the web, and fell on that nice little 410 revolver. NICE VERY NICE!!! I wish I could have one of these and carry it in the bush with me. But Canada being Canada I can only dream of it. Short barrels= PROHIBITED  Am NOT Grandfathered :bangHead: and must be part of gun club to own a handgun :bsFlag: So even if I could buy one with a longer barrel, what is the point going to a shooting range with a shotgun revolver. This is really someting to carry in the bush either in the backpack or on the belt. Bur AGAIN Canada being Canada IT WOULD NOT BE LEGAL :puke:

Some of the 6'' versions have trickled into Canada. They are kinda neat but a bit of a novelty. Lonewolf in Idaho carries them in 6in and they have added a removeable choke which really makes a difference on the 410's performance. I dont know if Taurus is sure what they want to call it. Now called The Judge, it started out as the 44Ten Tracker, touting is as being capable of handling 45LC, 44-40 and 410, then the following year became the Forty-five/410, no longer mentioning the 44-40 capability.
Fun gun tho..
Cheers
dB:)

You don't need to be in a range to own a handgun. They're just going to make it really, really hard for you. So you gotta be ready to fight. For your right. To part-I mean own guns.

And we're assuming you're talking about Western Canada here.

Nope! I am in Ontario. Last time I have checked I was told that If I am Not Part of a handgun club, I would havle to fill out a '' Brick'' of paper to request a handgun and It was Not sure If I could get it. Maybe I was mislead by a functineer on a power trip I DONT KNOW!

Geez, I thought this was going to be about the new Taurus 1911... :(

The name "Judge" would be kinda cool on it...

Anyway on the thread subject, I doubt a revolver in .410 shooting slugs would have any benefit over a wheelgun in .45 Colt, stoutly loaded... ;)

personally I would be more interested in the announced .223 Raging Bull...

Now that might be an interesting one... scope it up with a nice Leupold long eye relief variable.... hmmmm.........

Ok cool gun yes but very useless like someone said on this thread being you can only bring it to a range :/ would be a great bush gun tho!
Anyways my brother is dying for this revolver he has been annoying me to find one since he seen an ad of it in G&A. I called FN SPORT they said they did not import them nor are they planning to. So anybody know if you can get the 6inch model in Canada?? If so Where?
