Nice! I have a similar plan for the November doe season here in Alberta!
Except that in Alberta:
"It is unlawful to set out, use or employ any of the following items for the purpose of hunting big game:
ammunition of less than .23 calibre"

Well, I find most rifles to be pretty loud. I don't think it's any louder than a 300 or 308 or whatever. I certainly wouldn't want a brake on it. I had a braked 14.5" barrel AR15 and it was obnoxious to shoot. I removed the brake and put a standard flash hider on it. I find braking a .223 ridiculous, but everyone has different ideas.

How's the muzzle blast? I've been thinking of a Tavor for a fun gun, but had a Keltec KSG and the blast was horrendous. I don't hunt with hearing protection, so that's not an option.
No real muzzle blast because it's a full-size barrel at least 18".
My Tavor was "blasty". Doesn't really matter I put plugs in. Tough guns.
Excellent work and congratulations! Nothing like hunting with an anti-lieberal rifle. Good stuff!
You need a Star Wars Storm Trooper uniform in camo... or desert sand to be matchy-poo...
Excellent thread and pics Mr. G.
You cannot imagine how delectable that plate looks after 12 days of hospital meals.
