Wow I'm very impressed that this Israeli Tavor is a non restricted gun! A friend of mine brought this to my attention and I also did some research and aware not all models are non-restricted! I want one now but to much for my pocket now! How is this rifle not classified as an AR some input would be nice!

OP: I don't like to be the guy that says use the search function, but in this case it would net you a lot more information and a lot less of the above.
The Tavor is non-resctricted because the RCMP says it is so. It's been true for quite a while. There are no AR parts, and the only similarity is the type of magazines used. There are lots of threads you can find with the search function as long as you remember to set the date to more than "two weeks and newer"
