T97 100 yards 75grain match ammo

About average with this ammo.

I can get my tavor to 1.5 moa multiple 5 shot groups on same paper consistently with vmax

Same.

Only photo i have, and i called the flyer. With a 4x optic, that has a 1.5 moa center dot. Definitely accurate enough. But if you want to shoot gophers at 500yards, buy a bolt gun.

I nailed a groundhog in the head at a measured 90 yards from a field rest with 62 grain MFS softpoint. Good enough for what i use it for.

Don't expect this with Norinco or other cheap ammo.

Hornady TAP 75 grains. I got the same results with Sierra semi point with varget and H335.

Is there a reason you guys are doing 3-4 round groups? One guy said he can't fit a full mag. I get that, but load another round and do a 5 rnd group.

I'd have a lot of amazing groups if I stopped at 3 or 4.

I laid on the ground at 100 meters to shoot these groups. The closest to center was AE 55 grain black box stuff, the other two groups was Remington 40? grain hollow point. results are kinda typical for this rifle when im having a good day. your results may vary.

Lots of practice and rounds down range. I also shoot more than most so yea i get practice. This is not typical of this rifles groups but i was having a good night. My pistol shooting on the other hand looks like ive taken a shot gun to the target. Ive never been a good pistol shot. I expect a lot of flack from the tavor fanboys but it is what it is. At the end i just put some bird shot into my target to "finish" it off. My ar 15 shooting is also not so good but a work in progress. Need more range time. one day i will film my range shoots from start to finish just to prove the nay sayers wrong.....but i really dont think they are worth my time.

Just got back from the range!! Completely stock T97 fist time shooting it too!! This is my first black rifle so Im pretty excited about it but realized pretty quick that Im used to high powered scopes on my hunt rifles.

The stock Irons are 16MOA thick! I was able to get a 4 inch group at 100meters but dang its not easy with irons. Scope is a must to get decent groups I imagine. The irons on my lever action rifles are alot thinner, making lining up shots easier at 100 meters.

I think the stock irons have got to go...

I think you might have had bad experiences or bad shooting days.

My Tavor in factory config, shot 2 MOA with factory flip ip irons and just under 1.5 MOA with 3 power scope.

Going back now that I put Geissle trigger pack and trigger on it. Hoping for at least 1MOA or better.

Will post pics

A guy I chatted with at the range was getting sub MOA with his T97 and hand loads last year (gas system turned off). Using MFS soft points and a 4x scope I can plink off clays at 200 all day long no problem and I think I recall getting about 1.25-1.5MOA at 100 on paper. On the other hand when shooting Chinese military 5.56 trash it would put down 4 MOA at best and couldn't reliably break a clay at 100 so ammo is key in these for sure.
