So today I went and sighted in a new red dot on my tavor and after I flipped up the built in iron sights to see how the co witness was and I noticed the front post was way left

I drifted it all the way to the right but it's still not on center. Short of buying other back up irons anyone got any tips?

have you tried shooting the BUIS yet? They are centred with the bore so in theory they should shoot straight. Your red dot may be adjusted and zeroed for your eyes/ cheek weld/ trigger press so in theory, that's what may be slightly off centre.

Just a theory. I would take off the red dot and try shooting irons to find out exactly where they print.

Wait, what? Are you saying that no matter how much you adjust the irons that you can't zero the rifle on paper or that they don't co-witness with the red dot?

Shoot with irons only, adjust until zeroed.

What red dot?

Lol yes trust me. It runs out of adjustment and still won't hit paper. However, upon closers inspection the whole front sight was bent so I took it to work today and after 3 good whacks with a hammer and some confirmation range time the irons and red dot are bang on.

Yes I hit a tavor with a hammer and hard. Felt good.
