So you guys who went railed, no BUIS? Or yes?

I did. I could care less about the BUIS. In reality I'll probably never use it anyways. The ability to mount my scopes, and other optics was more important to me. Also being able to use the M21 on other firearms was a major consideration. Chances are the M21 will find a fairly permanent home on my CX-4 Storm. Now that it has an Eotech like reticle I suspect the sight will be worth it. I wasn't keen on the previous reticle and it was the main reason why I didn't even consider a Tavor the first time around.

I will have to see how this new and improved m21 pans out. I wonder if the dot still washes out in bright light?

I have an extra eotech kicking around so I might as well use that. Or maybe I will get a railed version. I guess I will wait to see what canam ends up getting from IWI.

The only info I am concerned with right now is when for pre-paid. ANY Eta? Ballpark? Before Xmas (please)? CanAm? I know you are busy and working hard.....can you feel my lips on your ass yet?

You didn't get yours yet?

Unless Can Am has them in hand now I doubt we well get them before the 25th. This is like waiting for my 16th birthday all over again. Could not wait to get behind the wheel then and can't wait to get behind the trigger now.

^I'd probably just add a x4 magnifier behind the sight. However the telescope is going for around 1K so it aint cheap. you think there is another alternative? And I'm also wondering if canam an get a price on the NVS. That would be hardcore lol haha

With the full picatinny I'm sure the Aimpoint & Burris magnifiers could do...As per say that Canam advertizes a 4x magnifier, the only one I've heard of is a 3x one.

yeah but I dont plan on changing the sight or adding a rail or anything. I guess I'll have to see that rear pivot thing and see if there is an alternative.

Anyone willing to TOFTT and call CanAm to see if they've arrived in country yet?

I'd do it, but am afraid pestering them too much might move me to the bottom (or worse...off of) the list. :p

Earlier this week they had'nt shipped from IMI. With shipping ,customs, processing and shipping it will be a while yet.
But just like that Red Rider BB gun under the tree when you were a kid. Waiting just makes it more exciting right?

I'm heading out of town for a while, and I'm hoping to avoid having any packages from CanAm returned, leaving me to make other shipping arrangements upon my return. (I don't want my Tavor floating around in the back of delivery trucks any more than is necessary.)

I called CanAm last week to give them a heads up about this, and the fellow I spoke to mentioned it's fairly common for them to have trouble tracking down a purchaser when pre-ordered items are finally ready. He seemed very unconcerned about my concerns and I assumed that it was a non-issue that they deal with regularly. But, the fellow didn't clarify what their delivery process is(I should have phrased my questions better, but I was in a rush at the time).

Will they try to call me first before shipping my Tavor, then hold it for me until I return if they can't contact me?

Or, do they drop the product in a box and ship it out the door to the address I left with them, then process the returned item when it can't be delivered? (leaving me to contact them later on and make follow up arrangements for delivery)

Anyone have previous experience with CanAm in a situation like this?

They sent my last gun by Canada Post. If I am not home it goes to a postal outlet. Maybe you can get a hold on your mail why you are away?

The closest post office or designated outlet will hold it. They'll have no idea what it is and it'll be tossed in with a bunch of other parcels.
