Relax guys, the boys at canam are working hard to get these rifles out. When I phoned, they said it was "configuration that they think everyone will like"

LOL! Wait...I don't see a smiley.

Seriously? I didn't order a pizza with assorted toppings here. They think(!) I'll like it?

This just gets weirder and weirder.

I figured that's what he meant, but just wanted to put a question mark on his comment.

My pizza is in the oven, and I am starving, I hope it tastes as good as advertised with all the good toppings, kind of sucks when you order out and the name of the food is "Pizza surprise".

I sent an e-mail 2 days ago about info in my file, got a response the next day, I called 3 days ago and they answered the phone.

Would be nice to get the run down here about what to expect in terms of product and timing, after all I think we are THE firearm hotspot of Canada.

I have my rifle. Picked it up from the post office this morning. I ordered the basic model. 18.7" barrel, standard scope mount. And that is exactly what I got. Looks just like the picture on the Canam website. Like usual the Mepro site washes out in sunshine, but that was expected and I also picked up one of Dlask's great rails. Can't wait to try it out next week.

sounds like a fake post to me, everyone know sun doesn't shine in B.C. this time of the year. :D

Yup pics or it didn't happen ;)

OK, here goes, I hit the range on the way home from the post office; I seem to be having some feeding issues and the sights sucked so I put on an eotech. I think they erred though because I dont recall asking for the Vulcan Cloaking option??? Its ok, but it makes the rifle a bugger to work on.

Shipping priority should be given based on post count ;), I demand satisfaction to this injustice ;)

posting a photo was the most difficult thing I've ever done. I removed the Mepro site, replaced it with the Dlask rail and put on whatever I had for optics. My Bushmaster isn't ready to give up it's EOtech yet. The Bipod is a Harris with a standard AR stud swivel adapter. The Sling is from IWI but not the one that comes with the rifle. I tried to take a picture of the new reticle in the Mepro but the camera couldn't focus on it or the flash would wash it out. I like the EOtech a lot better.

Excellent.

Quick question though. Shouldn't your target ("Fitco") be down range rather than on your rifle? :p

I put on what was at hand. It was lying around (obviously) with no home, so as not to leave the rifle optically naked I included it for a more rounded effect.

Thank you for taking the time and effort to post that...You've done allot more than the guy who processed my EMT's has; and I for one would like to sincerely thank you for proving there is a Santa Clause/tooth fairy/Easter bunny. Even if none of the people that Built the Tavor ever heard of any of those childhood mysteries...dreams do come true.

So here's the only question that matters...since I cant even get a delivery ETA ...was your rifle built in Brazil or Israel?

Ah, looks like they're using the same serial number range as the first shipment. Would that have helped with their apparently fast and smooth movement through customs? Or do things like that matter at all?
