Tavor fever

Negative! Gen 2.5 was not american made!

The SAR is a completely different entity from the various "Gens" we discuss in Canada.

this is a Gen 2 on left and a Gen 2.5 trigger on right. Aside from the updated triggers, Gen 2.5s also sport a new style of bolt carrier.

On a side note, TVPP was wrong about trigger packs and bolt carriers from the US model fitting our tavors, however our trigger packs will not fit thier rifles.
Damn I thought mine was 2.5.
Looks like gen 2.

Thanks a lot for the pic.

What exactly is different about the 2.5 bolt carrier?

getting the tav-d for $410 isnt bad at all. Very impressed. I was deciding on Geissele or TAV-D went with the Geissele trigger b/c of easier access. would love to hear your feedback on TAV-D. Most reviews says TAV-D is preferred compared to Geissele.

Actually it was 362$ all in to my door... :)

I just lucked out, a member from tavor Owner Group on Facebook helped me out.... and sold me his used Tav-d and filled out the forms.....

Not sure if this has been discussed yet, but since the tavor is labeled for .223, has anyone used 5.56 without problems?

It's been discussed plenty. I have no problem yet but I've only fired about 1286 times. YMMV. Haven't cleaned it in a year, Xmas project.

5.11 and the IWI bag are both made in china crap. So I dont think one will be better then the other.....

Haven't seen the IWI one in Canada....

Zipper could've been better, The Zipper on my Tactical Tailor backpack is more heavy duty lol,

I got my parents here for X-Mas, so I don't really have time to play with it.... But 100$ is the Max this thing should be sold for.... Totally not worth what I ended up paying for it....
But I wanted one, and when I want something I go full retard and get it.... lol....

100$ usd + shipping lol... You guys do the math.... The only good part is CBSA did not impose themselves....
