Hi Guys

So i want to install a lantac dragon on my tavor and i've taken out the tavor stock flash hider and the lock nut. My question is do i reuse that lock nut on the lantac or just the washer that comes with the lantac or both?

Depends how far the lantac will thread on. As a lantac user (on my AR15, 10.3" barrel) that dragon will be awfully close to your face and not likely very pleasant to shoot lol. Let us know how it is.

Probably not an issue on your 18.5" tavor. Put it on a CTAR and you'll get your sinuses cleaned out fast.

You can put a crush washer on there instead if you prefer, but generally you can just take a pair of wrenches and re-use the locking nut.

Are the new batch of Tavors different? Mine has no shoulder for a crush washer to sit against. You have to use the jam nut.

That being said, a jam nut it far superior to any crush washer.

Here they are. The quality isn't the best from my phone but here goes! I haven't had the chance to try it out yet but if this weekend is nice I'll be at EOSC having fun :) This is my second muzzle brake, I have a SEI Good iron on my M305 and LOVE IT! So hopefully this little Dragon is gonna be the cat's ass.

First pic is side view and second is from the top.

I'm kinda leaning towards installing it with the lock nut instead of the crush washer. Is this possible with the lantac dragon considering it has to be indexed? Does the lock nut need to be torqued and indexed too? If so to what settings?

I'll leave this question to people with more knowledge on this subject. As this was my first time installing a brake on the Tavor.

Finally got a chance to go to the range today with the Tavor and the Dragon brake and OMFG :sok2 it changes the way you feel the recoil on this gun. There is next to no muzzle rise and follow up shots are super easy. But its a bit louder then expected but its AWESOME!!!

I'd recommend it to anyone with a Tavor or AR for that matter.
