Tavor Geissele lightning trigger bow

Received and installed today. Installation wasn't bad at all. I've been dry firing it all afternoon and I have to say, the pull is ridiculous. I have a tav d trigger pack and there is almost no take up at all. I don't have a means of measuring the pull weight, but it is incredibly light. I can't wait to get it to the range. Only thing is that the safety is a little stiff now.

Got and installed mine today, was on the first geissele trigger pack order and paired with the new trigger its even more amazing.

With the price of the part and ease of install I would not hesitate to recommend this to any tavor owner, it makes the trigger pull just so amazing :p

If the safety is stiff you need to back out the screw a tiny bit. :)

I had hoped I would get mine this week, but it wasn't here today. So maybe next week. I Guess simple mail takes at least 3 weeks in Canada to come cause its been 2 weeks already :( GOD I HATE FRIGGIN CANADA POST !!!!!!

Yeah, ground from nl to ab is going to take a while! About a week to on, so probably two to you, give or take.

Ok where in the puppies did you guys get the 3-48 allen key to fit that small screw ? I pulled out every allen key I have and 5/64 is as small as any of mine go, I ran to Crappy Tire they only go to 5/64 too so now i need some retard small allen key that even google doesn't get a hit on ?????????????

So, I'm installing my bow, and the instructions say nothing about putting the trigger spring back in. Do you use it?

Nevermind. It seems to work without. Damm fine I might add!
Btw, I simply used a large flat bladed screwdriver bit and a 5/16 wrench to remove the barrel. Worked just great, no marking.
If you don't have the barrel wrench, just get creative. It's a little firm at first, but once you break the crest, it becomes easier.

so you have to dismantle the entire gun including barrel to install the trigger?

It's actually pretty easy. Just download the armourers manual, and watch a couple youtube vids.
Fore grip comes off, then the charging handle slips out. You don't need to remove the flash hider if you take the charging handle carrier out of the slots when it hits the FH.
When you knock out the trigger pivot pin, put a rag, or something to capture that little spring.
Ask me how I know. Good thing I heard it land, and didn't hit my eyes.
It sure went for a trip.

I just learned the reason the new triggers have an embossed G, They are casted triggers.... Unlike the white Laser G engraved triggers. they are 100% machined.

Thought I would pass this info along to you guys, Im glad I have the gen 1 engraved white G one...

I got a PM on the Tavor FB page. But It was posted on there before...

Same as the reason some people prefer the Tav-D over the Geissele packs, every part of the Tav-d is machined from tool steel. Some parts in the Super Sabra are cast as well..

Not that it matters in the long run, Geissele makes great products.

i have my whole gun dismantled and all my allen keys are stripped trying to unscrew the little bolt. I’m frustrated to no end. I have to leave all tees parts on coffee table and my wife will freak because I can’t even hit a hardware store until tomorrow.
