I've got a Tavor rifle in transit. Looking forward to using it in an upcoming event.

When doing a reload in a stage, am I going to get my pee-pee slapped if I keep my trigger off the trigger, but held on the PG below the knuckle bump?
There being no distinct trigger guard as per the AR 15, it's a bit of a handling issue.

The only time I've handled a Tavor was in a gun shop, so I didn't have much time to work with the ergonomics. Hopefully you're right and it will be a non-existent problem.

point your trigger finger out on the side, no different than an AR, i do it all the time.

Yup, there's a great little ridge in the frame that your finger fits nicely into.

I've already found out that while very few people own and shoot Tavor carbines, almost everyone has an "informed opinion" on them, mostly gleaned from the internet.

This is true. Many of whom are AR snobs that care to only compare to high end ARs and not look at the big picture. As such veiws are typically very scewed.

The other crowd is the chair borne rangers. Lol.

I have not had my Pal long but have close to 4k rounds personally through the at one point 4 Tavors in my possesion. I have since disspursed all but my original as I came to the conclusion that 1 was enough even though it is possible to use 2 at once. :p

Jesus, four Tavors? That is impressive!

Yeah, I hear the kosher food is great .... :>) The Sabras are pretty special as well.

You guys following that changes to rcmp Bulletin No. 72 re: eliminating the mention of the LAR 15 mags? If this means making them a prohib'd device, there are one hell of a lot of them in circulation. How many people are going to destroy them or turn them in to their local detachments?

Ranges may become the hunting ground for zealous cops, looking for violators. As if we didn't have enough bureaucratic crap to deal with ......

The law has not changed, just the example. It may now make it easier for the courts to make an example out of someone to set a precedent. Untill then I am keeping on keeping on.
