Guys finally received the aimpoint and let me tell you now I NO what all the hype was about!!! I'll be honest that I never seen one up close before but just on the web. So I made a rash decision now with my good friends from "Al Flahertys" to buy one yesterday and had bro-inlaw pick it up! He brought it over today and put it on the Tavor! And it was a match made, I seriously thought I made a bad decision BUT when you have one up close or better off on the gun, wow it is slick! I thought it would be small at first but then really thought this is perfect size in fact! I'm a happy camper and will get back after I shoot with it! Cheers!

you know i have a T1, and its back in its box now, i just find it really really blurry, like a diagonal line more than a dot.
 
My H1 has a less then round dot. A little disappointing for the price, but on the other hand, you don't notice it when shooting. Otherwise it is excellent: compact, strong and has a long bat life. Good choice.

I think most of this it noticed indoors. When I did the CQB shoot outdoors I didn't notice it. In sunlight I think the dot is much more pronounced.
 
I have a slight astigmatism too which causes it to be a little "un rounded" but that's only indoors if the brightness level is too high. Outdoors your golden. I've shot eotech, aimpoint, and the mepro,
And the aimpoint is definitely the best in my opinion. The fact you can leave it on without having to worry about it dying on you is what makes it beat the eotechs.

On a second note, is that a co witness mount or 1/3 co witness mount? I just got my tavor on Friday and was worried id need a new 1/3 mount for my t1 due to everything I've read about people complaining about cheek weld and co witnessing the built in sights. To my pleasure, I put my co witness mount on and the cheek weld was perfect and the sights co witnessed? Very strange, because it co witnessed with Daniel defense ar sights mounted on my ar...
 
I can actually make out the series of tiny red dots that comprise the single larger dot. This pattern should be circular in shape to give a round appearance, but in reality it is somewhat random. My neighbour came over and looked through it and the first thing he said was "The dot isn't round!" Ah well, that is my only complaint about an otherwise excellent sight.

Lots of folks don't know they have a mild astigmatism until they use a red dot sight.
