A soldier's helmet has a very distinctive outline, the mesh "sack" helmet cover is very effective at disrupting that outline.

in all seriousness, they do quite a good job of breaking up the outline of the head... that'd be much harder to spot in the bush. Urban combat? I think I'd leave mine at home...
