The Tavor not YET being on the prohib list, I took mine to the range today.
Following our IPSC practice, I gave a brief intro on it to those interested in shooting it. Then we repaired to the rifle range.
We started out with paper at 25m to get them familiar with the controls and red dot. Then we went for steel at 100m.
All shot good groups at 25m and most shot well at 100m. All shooting done off hand.
Two were teens (one girl), the rest adults who were not familiar with any carbine, 9mm or .223.
The Tavor takes some adapting to if you've never shot a Bull Pup design before, trained shooters pick it up easily.
