Glad I saw this thread, one more thing to watch for while cleaning. Assuming you've had no more problems since removing the spring?

Next time out I will try it without the spring to see how it runs, and report back.

Here is the spring now. The larger end would not enter the bolt during reassembly but I thought it was formed this way to fit under the head of the firing pin.



Next time I go to the range I will try to run without it.

Well I was able to call North Sylva previously but now I can't reach them and I am still waiting for a replacement spring.

Anyone else have a source?

The firing pin spring should be an easy fix. While you wait for replacement parts..why not try to bend it back to the normal shape and see if it works?

I have tried to do that but it is not as easy as one would think for a double wound spring to be bent back to the original size.
