Hi, I'm just mulling the idea of another, longer than 4x optic for my Tavor, for days when I want to shoot past 100, out to 300.
I can do the research to see what is out there, but personal opinions would help get me started.
Cost: 1200-2000.00

thanks

TA11 or any decent 1-4X optic. I shoot an 8" gong at 300m can hit it everytime with 3.5X magnification.

Okay, thanks. I do have a 1-4x optic but haven't gone beyond 100. I will certainly try this weekend. I had thought I'd need a 6x to get any further. I'm fairly consistent with the gone at 100.

3X9 would probably be the next step up if you want to pinpoint at 300M. Trijicon TR20-2 is a good MILDOT in that mag.

Right pricepoint, right power range, try the Razor:

I will pick the night force 1-4x24 with the new FC3g reticle. Much more versatile than the ACOG and better glass, but it is also more pricy. Lighter and better reticle than vortex offerings.

I have a 4x ACOG TA31 on my Tavor , love how compact ,light and rugged it is compared to any 4x scope and mount out there, battle proven for decades , no batteries needed, great field of view , easy to use BDC no messing around with turrets, ACOG TA31 eye relief is not a issue with the Tavor u can mount it very close to your eye, best part i got it barely used on the EE for $900..

looks awesome. I got a nice surprise today at work. The Elcan that was supposed to get delivered on July 4th showed up this morning, CP isn't always bad.

We have twins(s**tty pic from work)

Your 4X should be fine to 300 Meters. Many folks shoot f class with iron sights at 900 meters with no more than a mark 1 1X standard issue eyeball.
