Hey guys, looking for a new brake for my tavor. Ive never looked at brakes before because I don't think it really will make much of a difference on a 5.56. That being said I'm looking for something LOUD haha I only shoot this rifle outdoors in some sandpits so noise is not an issue. The louder the better and if there is a performance increase then hey, that's a bonus. Any suggestions?

It's .223 not a .308, I hold the rifle still and there is no muzzle rise. Yes it really is that simple if your not a pencil pusher all day and actually have some upper body strength.

Armtac is soposed to be the Ares Armor importer, but they let thier license lapse and are working on getting thier paperwork resubmitted. Email them and tell them you want it BAD.
Surefire muzzle brake if you can find them. I have one on my 16" AR and its loud, the other one on my 10.3" is really LOUD!! The muzzle brake is really effective so that's a bonus. I love them so much that I even put one on my Rem.700 .308

You wouldnt believe how much a good comp will improve your douple tap ability by stopping you from loosing your sight picture, especially with a magnified optic.
Alright alright, haha I'm still skeptical, even on 4x zoom on my Millett dms 1-4x24 I don't think I'm losing my sight picture very often but I guess I'll be eating my own words if I can get ahold of a surefire like the above poster suggested and i do notice a difference

I would go lantac dragon. OST just got another shipment in.
All brakes will increase the decibel level significantly. The key is finding one that works in reducing muzzle climb tool. There are combo FH / brakes that work marginally well but nothing beats a dedicated brake for controlling recoil. Linear brakes work well too and help direct the blast downrange from you but again there is an increase in the volume of the report. Some brakes will also seem to intensify the muzzle flash which may or may not be of interest to you as well.
If you are just looking to increase volume then any brake will do. I'd suggest picking up a used one on the EE and go from there.

I have a few dragons in 556 and 762, and one of them is on my tavor. Love them. You can also get the lantac BMD for them later. Still waiting for mine from GP tactical. My precision arms M72 is not very quiet but it would sure look odd on a tavor.

True, but it's also the benefit of a bullpup.
If you're experiencing "Muzzle rise" on the Tavor/X95 platform... time to lift.
In my limited experience it is also important to find a brake that does not over compensate and causes muzzle dip.
