Tavor or xcr-l ... Christmas is coming

I've got an itch for a new NR ... last 2 choice are down to the tavor or an xcr-l in 223 (keymod heavy barrel) . I never shouldered both weapon , but at 6'4" im thinking the tavor might be "too small" . any input is appreciated.

I'm 6'. Vote for Tavor also. By far the best ahouldering, pointing, coolest shooting gun...next to a short barrelled AR!!
And I've owned both, still have the Tavor!

Damn!! You Tavor owners is all giants!!!
I'm 5' 11" and I love my Tavor!! I would choose it over an XCR EVERY time. Way easier to point, and much better balance.

nearly in the same boat , but i fall more on the side of the xcr because of the cheap 7.62x39mm ... too bad they dont make the tavor in this caliber

I own both rifles and the last time I measured myself I was 6' 2", while Bullpups don't really have a LOP in the traditional sense, it is very comfortable for all shape and sizes. with the stock XCR You might feel the LOP to be a bit short. not enough to affect your shooting, but short enough to feel weird.

If you are set on getting a heavy barrel for XCR, then I would get the tavor.

I have both...Tavor, hands down.

when it comes to a semi NR, i find that i will pack it with me everywhere I'm driving, hiking, boating, and ATV'ing...The XCR-L is pretty cool, but muzzle heavy and too long to move around comfortably in many instances. The Tavor is compact with good ergonomics, and has always been reliable in all weather (i have 3, no failures). until the day comes that i can take my 10.5 or 7.5 AR on a hike, the Tavor is my choice

6'4" here. Love the tavor in factory configuration, but so long as I have to run the long barrel I will be running a Midwest Industries XL extended keymod handgaurd.

I didn't know how I would like it at first but got one and turned out to be great! I really like how it allows you to get up on it with a more straight armed C-clamp grip and run it more similarly to an AR. I also offset the added weight gain by switching up the Top Rail to a GHW short rail. Couldn't be happier with the set up!

Going ACR, but after xmas only
Honestly I thought about getting a second Tavor, but variety is the spice of life, after reading all the comments I decided the xcr is definitely not for me.

TAVOR! XCR is good, but with the true military background of the Tavor, I would say its a better built rifle. Just my opinion.

Good to know! I was shopping for a XCR, but...With all comments… TAVOR = the real choice….I think I’ll change my mind!
