so...you're proud of the fact that you absolutely destroyed someone's plinking steel.

Job well done....exactly the reason why our club locks up all of our steel.

It reads like they were not his,
then noticed some nice fellow left a few 6 x 6 inch steel plates on the tables. Thickness: 1/4 (5.5 mm). Weight: 1000 g.
Sprayed ONE, and then mounted on to one of the backstops.

Obviously those targets were not meant to last for centerfire rifle rounds.
 
pretty douchbaggy thing to do blowing holes in someone elses steel targets. and people wonder why ranges are going downhill no one wants to contribute when there are jackholes like the OP who will destroy other peoples property without a second thought of how much someone spent on it.

the person who made those could have forgot them there and was on their way back to get them.

really not something to be proud of. gives all gun owners a bad name.
 
I didn't even mention the fact that he said he was at the range.

I know the rules are different in alberta, but I would think they all have rules regarding what targets can be shot at with what guns. That is obviously not rifle rated steel and I would expect the club may not be too happy about this.

Probably is upset because people damage steel at his range like they did at ours
 
i have said it before. gun owners are our own worst enemies. while it may be a small group. it is a very visible group who seem to think destruction of property (not their own) be it the clubs property, or another club members property.
there are several at the club i belong to. using their 1000 yard 338 LM to shoot the chains off the 100 and 200 meter gongs. then bragging about what a great shot it was. or just simply blowing holes in it with their 50 cals. same group that would likely shoot stop signs full of holes. or trespass on a farmers property to shoot. might be only a few people, but no one ever talks about the good things we do. it is only people #####ing about the jackholes among us doing stupid #### that get heard the most.
