Ok guys I feel stupid. I was cleaning the gas tube on my tavor (the tube above the barrel) and after using the brush I put a piece of a rag in there to wipe up excess crud. A piece of the cloth came off and lodged in the little hole that leads into the barrel and by trying to remove it I made it worse. Do you have any ideas on how to remove it and if i were to fire it would it pop out or blow up?

Yea compressed air or just shoot only one round and then clean your rifle , that piece of rag should have cleared the gas system or ended up somewhere else in the rifle you can remove it. really doubt it could damage anything in a rifle of that design .

It would pop out.

Make sure a round chambers all the way. Fire. Take apart and remove infection. Reassemble and let the joy begin.;)

I did the same thing while cleaning out a bore-guide with a rolled up paper towel. It ended up getting completly stuck, and nothing would get it out. I finally gave up and used it as an excuse to buy a Lucas Bore-Guide.
