I just got some really cool Tavor QD mounts. They are custom for the Tar-21. They cost me but I think they are worth it. I opted for the Stainless Steel. Here is the web
address if anyone is interested.

I have seen the Gearhead Works Flex mount also. It's actually a very simple piece compared to these mounts. When I spend nearly $3000 on a rifle, accesories like this are a must have. I personally don't like the balance point of the Flex mount.

The Mesa Tactical QD mount in the rear of my Tavor sticks out further than how I want it, but it works just fine. Those mounts look nice, but not $135/ea nice...at least not for me. But good to see another company making solutions for the Tavor though...and a Canadian one to boot.

Holy Smokes!

I sent an email to this company last night (through their site) and received a response today (Easter Sunday no less). They have two price points $89 for 7075 aluminum and $135 for stainless.

Im really impressed at the response. Ill attach the email below:
Good morning Copeland,

The prices have been updated on the site. That was a mistake. The Stainless Steel ones are $135 and the 7075 Aluminum ones are $89. Sorry about the mix-up. Check out the site again.

As far as wear goes, they have been designed so that the large body on the rear mount does not contact the stock at all. There is about a .008-.01" space so that this can't happen. When you tighten the custom screw on the opposite side of the mount, The QD side doesn't even need to rotate. I own Tavors myself and I didn't want mine scratched either.

There is no way that the holes can oval due to the mounts seating on the tapers.

I have no videos at this time but that would be something to consider nor do I know of any out there.

Hopefully I answered all of your questions.

Thanks,

Dennis Knelsen

Thanks for contacting the manufacturer and sharing the info. $89 for the aluminum one seems quite reasonable...at that price point, I'm now tempted to get the rear one. Hmm...
