So after examining the website and my Tavor, I think I'm just about ready to take the dive for a low gas block and top rail. (Do you guys do EMT? Or will I have to wait for the credit card company to come full circle again?)
I've been trying to mount night vision and have been fighting it every step of the way. (video forthcoming) But I think the solution I need is a low profile gas block. I figure for an extra $75 I might as well have the full top rail available too.
I see on the website there is an option when buying both for free installation! What's involved with that? And more important to me: how difficult is it actually to install each step of the kit? I consider myself to be pretty handy, but if you guys are offering free installation I have to think there's probably a good reason for that.
I'd probably just start with the gas block, as I'm not super in love with the full rail look, and have a rail now that does me very well. (Triangle pyramid logo that says made in Canada, can't remember the manufacturer.) But I just don't want to order something, realize its too big a job for me, and have to send it all back to you to be assembled.
I'm super pleased to see the low profile gas blocks available. The rear sight has been a pain in my ass, but I'm loathe to cut, saw, file or damage such a nice gun. Any advice would be great, thanks.
