Tavor scope mount question

Hello guys im looking at putting a low powered scope on my tavor, looking at a vortex strikefire 1-4x24mm and not sure what scope mount to get, currently looking at burris pepr qd mount (going qd since i have flip sights for backup for those shtf scenarios). i don't know any places in my area have them so a bit nervous its gonna be too low of mount. what mounts you guys using??
 
I'm also looking at this mount. Can anyone confirm it holds the scope at an appropriate height? The dealer that shipped me my Vortex Crossfire II 2-7x32 scope sent it with rings that don't work. I have been to Cabelas and back twice and tried and returned two different sets of rings that were too low as well, after mashing my face into the rifle trying to make it work. I'm ready to order this mount (Burris PEPR) from a dealer online, but want to get some solid confirmation it works well with the Tavor, because online returns are a PITA and not worth. Thanks in advance.
 
I have the burris PEPR with a millet 1-4x24 scope. Works well for me. The problem with the tavor is almost everyone complains about the hieght of they're scopes because of how the rifles rail is pretty much the same height as your cheek weld. There is a few aftermarket rail options that have a higher rail to mimick the cheek weld of an ar15, how ever that increases the hieght over bore which is already really high on the tavor and not a good thing

Long story short, yes it works fine it just takes some time to get used to
 
Another option is the AERO ultra lite mount. It is not QD but it also hase nothing for your hands and gear to get caught on.

Lightest mount I have seen to date and is one piece.

Saskatoon Gunworks has then and they are about the same price as the PEPR mount but much less weight. I have a PEPR mount on my RFB but it will be changing soon.
 
With my Tavor it was uncomfortable to hunch down low enough to look down my sights, So I put on medium hight mount just to bring the sights up to a normal level for me. I picked up a couple cheaper options from Amazon.ca

They are way cheaper then other options and work excellent and mount solid.
 
Get yourself an AR-15 height mount at the minimum. If you can get something that promises a "lower third co-witness" then that'll help you get some of the height you're looking for.

I quite like my American Defense mount for powered optics, but an aftermarket replacement rail is not a terrible idea either.

Ya ended up going Burris pepr with vortex 1-4. Love the combo points on target very naturaly. By far my favorite rifle/optic combo I own.
 
Thanks for the input guys. The Burris website said the 1" model hold optic centre at 1.5" above rail. Based on that and the replies here, I've ordered one and it is inbound. I'll report back how it turns out. Thanks.
