Vortex strike eagle 1-6 with Samson qd mount. Seems to work pretty good. Sent my Eotech back for refund. May go back to red dot/magnifier though. I don't think you can beat that scope in a budget/value scope
I use this as well. I know there are better options out there, but I could afford the burris and I can pick off a half pound of binary at 100 yards, so that's good enough for me!
I had a leupold mk. 4 1.5-5 mr/t in an ADM Recon-H. The optics rail on the tavor is slightly lower than an AR's in relation to the stock so I found that I needed a bit more mount height to shoot properly from the prone. I had the AR co-witness height recon before and found getting a repeatable cheek weld difficult. Standing and sitting was much less of a problem though.
I put a Vortex Strike Eagle 1-6 30mm on mine. Reticle is a bit busy for me. Guests couldn't hit anything with it, even at 1x. I swapped it for a Vortex Sptfire 1x and everyone can hit stuff now.
I'll probably put the Strike Eagle back on for hunting, but my ideal scope would have a red dot for 100m and the elevation/distance crosshairs below. 1-6x is fine.
I had a strike eagle briefly, I was very underwhelmed. Nice features for the price but was still obviously a cheap scope. Of course, I was comparing it to my Kahles K16i which isn't really fair.
These are both cheap options that will do the job. Millet 1-4x in a Burris pepr was about 300 total and the spitfire 1x was on sale awhile back for around 300 I think
One day I'll have an acog or elcan but these will have to do for now
