Hey folks, I just got a Super Sabra today and I am impressed at how much of an improvement it is over the OEM. Especially with my Lightning Bow.

However, I notice a fair bit of creep from the Super Sabra. (2 and sometimes 3 movements through the second stage before the break)

Is this normal?

Does it go away with use / break in?

Yes it's lubed.

Thanks
Moe

Did you adjust the lightning bow when you installed it?

I found some jerkiness in the trigger until I adjusted it. I'm not at my own computer at the moment, so I can't reference the instructions right now.
Try it if you haven't done so. If there is still an issue, there is also a first stage adjustment on the Super Sabra.

I've got the sear pack but not the trigger bow. Haven't noticed anything like you describe, even when I first installed it.

I just installed both the lightning bow and Super Sabra pack also.

Before the lighting bow is in, if you only have the Super Sabra trigger pack, there is still loads of take-up that could be construed as creep. The final pull is nice and light, but the initial feeling is actually terrible.

If you run the OEM trigger pack and just install the trigger bow, the take up is very good and the trigger is much lighter. The final trigger pull is still very gritty and quite heavy.

After the Super Sabra pack AND lightning bow is installed, and as long as you adjusted the bow correctly upon installation, there should be NO creep what so ever. You should feel the initial take-up from the first stage of the trigger pack (which is actually adjustable), and after that the trigger should break cleanly. It's not as nice as my Remington 700 or Tikka m595, but it has no noticeable creep...especially not 2 or 3 movements.

Try charging the rifle, and wiggle the trigger bow back and forth. If you adjusted it right there shouldn't be any movement.

Also, Geisle says in some cases the aftermarket bow may require some fitting it keep it from rubbing in the trigger well. Mine went in perfectly without any issues.. But they say some may not. When you installed the bow, was it completely free to swing back and forth?

Good luck, and feel free to PM me with any questions...

Thanks guys. I have had the Bow in since March and just now the SS. I did all the steps laid out in that post and still the creep is there. Only thing I haven't done is fart with the 1st stage weight adjustment screw. I have sent an e-mail to Geissele's support on Thursday but have not got anything back. Ever have buyers remorse?

I just picked up a TAR21. I was a bit worried about the trigger after reading a bunch of posts here, but I must say I don't find it that bad at all. Almost a match trigger........ compared to my AUG.

Well thanks to fellow CGN'er The last slice I was able to narrow down the problem. He showed up today with his Tavor also sporting a Lightning Bow and Super Sabra. With his Super Sabra both rifles had very little creep with only two movements through the early part of the second stage. With my Super Sabra both rifles had lots of creep with 2 to 3 movements throughout the second stage.

Looks like the culprit was my Super Sabra. Mabey now Geissele will do something about it.

Geissele will make it right if it's a defective product. They will bend over backwards to make their customers happy. Call them. Emails are so impersonal

That's what I keep hearing but I have been corresponding back and forth regularly with Geissele since 02 Dec and I am still sitting on a defective $uper $abra.

It's the holidays so I'm sure the good people at Gisele are very busy with orders or home with love ones. I'm sure you will hear back in Jan when things slow down.

Yea.... they told me to contact Geissele.

For technical assistance, yes. We take care of you from there on in for exchange, etc. I thought it was solved? Didn't realize you still had an issue. Geissele is closed for Christmas and New Year, reopens Jan. 3. Sorry to hear you're still having a problem.

That is great news. The last e-mail I received from Geissele told me to contact you for exchange. My apology as I mistakenly thought that option was exhausted. When will you be open again for me to contact you?

Thank you.

On mine I also put the Super Sabra Lightning Bow Trigger and after adjustment it is perfect.
But I have never tried only the Super Sabra with the original trigger, so I cannot help much...
