It appears that IWI has reversed their previous policy of not offering the Tavor without the optic. This is a definite plus for those who don't want the Meprolight.
 
Pardon the ignorance. Since these come without optics, (save for the flip up Irons, I assume), is the rail a picatinny type like on the original Tavors that were brought in?

I remember that there were different options previously, one was more expensive with a QD Mepro, is this just like that option in terms of rail, just without the QD Mepro itself?

Basically, will these come ready to go for an Aimpoint micro or similar optic?

+1, I also would like to know about the rail. It wasn't mentioned on the SFRC Tavor page, but the picture shows it.

Taxes in or...? Don't laugh, I had to ask. ;)

Several sponsors here quote their prices with taxes in, others say 'tax extra'. SFRC did neither, so I had to ask. Asia has nothing to do with it. :rolleyes: And no, I wasn't trying, just have to count my hard-earned Yuan - pardon, hard-earned Canadian dollars - to know if I still want a Tavor badly enough.
 
Taxes aren't included. That is the picture the importer supplied so it should come like that.
