Tavor TAR-21 or Bushmaster ACR Enhanced?

yup, they solved it... ended up the firing pin worked great with military hard primers, but not so good with commercial ammo.. they added a firing pin spring and solved the issue...

I sold my tavor and bought an ACR. The ACR is more accurate and better for long range gopher blasting which is what I wanted. The tavor is a more proven combat oriented rifle, but I don't need that for my non-restricted gopher getter. My ACR has been rock solid and deadly with the gieselle trigger.

Your supposed to post pics. They are a beautiful Gopher destroyer.

Well, I don't know then! I thought you loved your Tavor?

Unlike wives, a man may have more than one gun and love them equally. Damn good thing too.

^ This. :D

Yeah, that Geissele trigger is hard to beat... if they made one for the Tavor, mmmmm...

We're waiting on TV and his FLIR for this.

Do most Gieselle trigger models fit the ACR? I initially think only the super ACR fits it. And I am having a hard time to find a super ACR in Canada.

I've had a Super ACR trigger on order from Arms East for over two months now....even they don't know when they'll get one.

Some don't mind it. I found it horrible.

In comparison to an AR trigger, is it better, worse, or the same? If its similar to the AR, although a lot of people complain about it, I don't find that so bad either. In comparison to my XCR, the AR doesn't compare, unfortunately. But its still not bad.

I believe you need the Super ACR specifically for the ACR.

Compared to an AR, worse. Does that mean it's un-shootable? No, just that it may take some getting used to. I honestly don't mind it that much; some people just hate it, though... For a quick reference:

Tavor ... -2
FS2000/PS90 ... -1
AR/ACR ... 0
Geissele +2

I'm used to service rifle triggers and would say it's the same or slightly worse. Totally manageable. That said, the swiss arms trigger is simply incredible!
