Any body have one? Like it? Is there better options? I sourced one locally for $375 wondering if I should "pull the trigger on it" haha sorry, I'm extremely hungover.

Should add- Not sure what gen it is or if it matters?

Yes, I have one, and yes I like it. They are up to 500 bucks now plus tax/shipping so that price seems pretty fair. Some people experienced FTF's with the first gen triggers when shooting ammo with hard primers. Mine has been flawless. I have a super sabra coming so I can compare, but those are now 600 bucks + tax and shipping so I think a 375 dollar timney is a good deal.

Geissele and Tav-D have better reviews.

Personally after all the problems that were posted on the Timney I would stay far away...

I have the Tav-D, You ca buy it directly from Shooting Sights, he ships for free to Canada

Ya screw it, I guess I'll wait and find a better one. Did a little research of my own too and doesn't look good for the Timney. My tavor is the one rifle I want running 100% (I'm a bit of a prepper/SHTF type of dude) lol even the odd ftf on a hard primer is a no go for $3000+ rifle setup. Thanks guys

I received a couple pm's telling me horror stories as well, thanks to those guys too lol

I Tried TV-PressPass' when he first got it (one of the first in Canada), I had bad experiences with it (burst-fires and was a much lighter but felt equally musher than the oem trigger) but then got my own and decided to sell it in anticipation of the Geissele. I have since got my Geissele and am waiting for delivery of my Geissele lighting bow upgrade. Since I got my Geissele I had the chance to try TV-PressPass' Timney again after it got a factory rework/upgrade this past winter. I would hands down buy one in its upgradeed state for $375. Feels as good or maybe better than my Geissele.

To each there own, but ive never really had a problem with the stock trigger on the Tavor. Mine is a gen 2.5 and although a little heavy, ive found the trigger to be smooth and very controllable. Saying that I think your doing the right thing by staying away from the Timney. 500$ for a trigger should equal FLAWLESS operation, not the occasional bump fire, FTF etc.

I have a small collection of Tavor Triggers including the Timney, Geissele and a US-SAR.

I give a slight edge to the Geissele, but both after market triggers are good.

I had two light primer strikes out of 40 rounds. Not sure what to expect in the future. hope it doesn’t keep happening. I tried to reuse the rounds and they still didn’t fire.

Just received my TAV D, 385 Canadian all in shipped and no customs charge. World of difference compared to stock trigger. Havnt shot with it yet though

My Timney has been perfect for me, I've shot XM193, XM855, PMC 5.56, American Eagle, and a little Norc with it and have had zero issues. The first Timneys I know had some problems, but the revised ones (mine at least) has been great so far. I wouldn't worry too much.
