Tavor Top Picatiny Rail Options

Ordering a Tavor soon. I would like to know whats avaiable for aftermarket pic rails for the top? I know i can order a factory rail for 300$ from Canammo. Im just wondering what else is out there and what the consensus is on them.

Its pretty much moron proof. I can do the install in 20 minutes, which means anyone can.

I use the Rauch rail. I really dislike the BUPS on the Tavor and the Rauch rail is longer on top and covers that stupid magnifier mount that no one uses anyways. I put on some Troy sights and couldn't be happier. Sorry for crappy iPhone pics

x2 for this solution. Completely improves the aesthetics and function of the rifle. If your Tavor has a rear backup sight, you would need to get the gas tube with out the sight from Canam.

I run the Rauch rail and love it. Very functional, I highly recommend it.

I haven't had a chance to play with the NEA system.

Gonna do a small hijack of my own thread since we are all talking Tavor here. Im going to probaly order the cheaper tavor from CanAm the one with the optic attached to the barrel and no rail. My question is, im planning on selling the metropolit on the EE to help pay off the tavor. Im curious as to what comes with the optic if anything at all. More specificallty the mount is what i would like info on.

the mount is part of the mepro. so there is no "mount" that can be sold separately.

no s**t. i thought there woud be mount of some type to make this thing usable on other rifles. guess i was wrong.

You can get a Meprolight picatinny rail to replace the stock mount, then mount it to your AR15 and create a nice IDF clone.

My best friend uses the NeitArms, it's pretty cool. Not a big fan up the replaced handguard though. The Rauch one looks pretty sweet too. I'd look into the Dlask 2nd gen rail, very nice product.
