Tavor triggers

Todays update. We should see our Super Sabras ship the very end of June or the start of July. As it works out, right about what Bill told us in Feb.

For the record, these triggers will be in VERY tight supply. AEI, the authorized sole CDN Distributor of Geissele Automatics, is one of a handful of companies who were able to place pre-orders for the Super Sabra. We have been talking about this trigger for a number of years now with GA, and the Canadian market was considered from the get go on this triggers design. The final unit that ships will be 'certified' by IWI for use in the CDN and US Tavor.

We hope to see these in gun shops coast to coast ASAP on release. If your shop isn't currently selling GA triggers and parts, tell them to call us and we will set them up.

Best regards,

Walt

My question is, don't these 3000$ guns come with triggers or people wanna dump more cash on stuff ???

They come with triggers that vary from 9lbs to 12lbs, depends on the generation and that specific rifle.

The Israeli designers made the trigger grossly heavy for a couple reasons. It had to pass a drop test of several meters, 6? Harsh desert conditions full of dust and dirt, so strong springs. And of course it was designed for shooting center of mass of hamas terrorists in close quarters 9 times out of 10.

The factory trigger can prove obnoxious to target shooters who wish to ring gongs much smaller then center of mass out at any distance. Off hand shooting is the most difficult stance to do any distance shooting because of the heavy pull weight.

These various upgraded triggers are varing from 3.5lbs to 5.5lbs pull weight. A HUGE difference.

Some people complain about the price and try to compare the Timney Tavor Trigger to the Timney Mosin Nagant Trigger price which I find laughable.

My Mosin cost me a $100 and the Timney a $130.
A Tavor costs as low as $2500 and the Timney $375. The % of cost of the rifle vs the trigger is how I look at it. Same with optics and mags.

We need an update Walt! :p

I need to know what the current state of affairs are so I can make a decision on whether I should wait for a Giessele or not.

No question.

GA does it right. They're GA. Whatever they release must work in the most serious of worlds. That's it.

"We Manufacture Confidence"

Super Sabra.

Very soon. Not soon enough.
