Tavor triggers

Got mine last night and installed it. Feels significantly better than the stock trigger (with the reset spring) still in. But still not sure if its worth the full 500. Will have to test on the range, but so far beey happy with the service and that it fit in my tavor. Thanks again Armseast

Thank-you JNA.

Let us know how you make out on the range please. I hope you enjoy it.

Just picked mine up at the post office (failed delivery yesterday) so ill be taking it out to the range tomorrow. I got a patch with mine but it seems to have glue leaking all over the inside of my package in the invoice... now don't get me wrong, im not complaining about free stuff just curious if anyone else had a bag of glue...

Got mine yesterday - YAY!

I too got a patch with a glue like substance covering it, but that is ok.

I was going to hit the range today but the weather was horrible, Hopefully I will have time tomorrow.
Kind of upset that I can't insert the BCG without removing the trigger pack, I thought the Geissele trigger was not supposed to have this issue, or am I missing something?

Thanks AE!

Sorry for the residue on the patch. I got those at the factory before they were cleaned up. I think it's a PVC lube maybe? Take a tissue with some isopropyl alcohol to it and it'll clean right up.

Was this the patch?

Make sure the rifle/hammer is cocked before doing basically anything assembly/disassembly related with it.

Picked up my trigger about 30 minutes ago from the post office. Install takes 30 seconds. Feel's like a 4.5 to 5 lbs trigger - really nice. I'll have to borrow my buddy's trigger scale to get the exact number. Oh yeah, my patch was covered in some blue/green stuff also, cleaned it off with Simple Green :)

I got a really awesome zipper tab pull with Geise-whatsit written on it. Way better than a patch, or hat, or BJ. It's not better. It's not awesome. It's ####ty. I'm going to wear it for a year, and put it on the EE for $900.

Trigger feels significantly better... it's no longer a finger workout to fire 100 rounds:) the reset is far shorter, i would say more than half of the original reset is gone. I love that fact that it's adjustable but i probably won't play with the setting until im sure i need more weight than the factory 3.5ish pull. though im tempted to crank it to 5 and see how it feels. was it worth 500 bucks? maybe, what geissele should have done is gone all the way and improved the trigger linkage and removed as much of the take-up slack as they could.

The hammer was down when I tried to put the BCG back in. I can be a bit slow some days, but I am not that out to lunch :p

Had to play with it a bit to get it to line up, no surprise since these are made for the more mass produced US ones.

Trigger feels a lot more crisp at break and definitely better reset. Stock well worn in with secondary spring removed was 7.5-8 lbs, now 4.5 every time. If you shoot it a lot, it's worth the money, if you rarely use it it's a toss up. I'm not regretting it in the least.
