Tavor upgrades?

A plate at 200 yards shouldn't be too hard to do with an un magnified red dot.

I think the term "kitchen sink rifle" is probably someone who has bolted "everything but the kitchen sink" on to their gun...lol.

Ahhhh. Gottcha. Nope not making this into a mall ninja rifle. I have a hobby farm and this will make a easy carry rifle when out and about. Truly besides coyotes and other critters that like the taste of my animals. It will be a fun range rifle

Yeah...but the battery in my Aimpoints last 50,000 hours on setting six, lol. Several years of being left constantly on.

The Aimpoint on my Tavor has been turned on for over a year now. I literally have never turned it off since its been on my rifle. And the dot is always there. Aimpoints are proven.

Am I the only one here who thinks IWI got it right in the first place? There isn't anything I'd change. Just add an optic, WML, and shoot it.
The hight of the rail has never bothered me. Every time I shoulder the rifle I pick up the dot instantly, and I've never felt it was too low. That's just me though.
The only thing I've thought of upgrading is the trigger. But the way I see it, if its not broken, don't fix it.

To each his own I guess.

I bought my Tavor new in January, and I was okay with the 1-4x scope and then the Aimpoint PRO on it. After I installed the spacer though, it was a lot more comfortable to shoot. The spacer wouldn't be a deal breaker for me either...but the few mm's in height does make a difference...IMO.
