Swiss Arms
Pros:
- Good accuracy (Proof with factory target)
- Extremely high quality
- Easy to strip (No Tools)
- Easy to maintain
- Very durable and solid
- Smooth action
- Trigger is crisp and clean (Can be upgraded)
- New lowers may be available to use AR mags
- Comes with Bi-Pod (Not the greatest but it is there)
- Folding stock (Easy for transport)
- Collapsing stock available (For use with armor or heavy clothing)
- Great iron sights
- Rail system available
Cons:
- Price tag (Accessories are expensive too)
- Charging handle on the right side
- Weight (A bit on the heavier side)
- Does not use AR mags (pmags) - NOT a CON for everyone
- Long
- Reciprocating charging handle
- Fixed muzzle device
- 20" barrel (prefer as short as possible 18.5")
Tavor
Pros:
- Short (Definitely not as big in person)
- Light
- Charging handle on the left side (Great for drills)
- Non-reciprocating charging handle
- Removable flash hider
- Easily changed barrel (if you have the tool)
- Easy to get at the action for cleaning
- Takes ALL AR mag types (Pmags, 10rnd etc etc)
Cons:
- High mounted optics
- Fixed length of pull (long)
- Tools required to fully disassemble
- Folding sights were not the greatest
- Charging handle was very heavy and stiff
- No shooting off hand with out eating brass
- Limited real estate to mount lights or lasers
- Sling system was not the greatest (I don't like tying my sling to my rifle)
The issues I highlighted above are what concerns me the most!
