Tavor Vs Type-97

Uh. No.

Remove trigger pack.

Remove bolt carrier group.

Break BCG down to firing pin

I can do it all with a bullet-tip.

If you want to go deeper, then you do need some tinkering tools.

... dammit... one more of my arguments for me justifying not buying a Tavor gone... :)

But even to remove the bolt carrier you need an allen key to remove the rails and a punch to remove the pin on the quick detach (pin) assembly so you can rotate it to remove the carrier don't you?

Euh what firearm are you referring to?
certainly not a tavor! Push pin, remove bolt carrier piston assembly group by SLIDING it out.

Well it seems almost entirely that the Tavor is worth the extra money according to everyone here! Thanks for the feedback.

so question #2.... Where is the best place to buy a Tavor right now?

Frontier, prarie gun traders , sfrc , those are just who I've noriced had stock in the past few days although I'm sure there are other cgn dealers that do as well, most still had a fde In stock as well.

That's tomorrow? Because today, the price is $2750 for the non-restricted. I can find one in Edmonton for $160 cheaper.

Edit: If that's true, I'm buying one at Reliable tomorrow!

Not sure why Reliable has not adjusted their price.
The importer of Tavor said the MSRP is now around $2500.
Anyways, Reliable gun will price match the tavor with anyways.

If that price for tomorrow is true, and I'll check in the morning, my delivered price would be $199 cheaper from Reliable.

Fingers crossed!
