Tavor - What are others using as a soft case?

After replying to another members question about a small case for an AR, I thought I'd poll other Tavor owners to see what soft cases they are using to carry theirs.

From what I can determine, I require a case just over 30" long and due to the optic, 12" tall. I found a 2 gun case on Urban Tac and also Hamilton Tac, but it is 36" long and I don't want a 2 gun case.

Any advice, input on what others are using, and where they purchased them would be appreciated.

You might want to look into a soft bow case. They should be short enough, however they are fairly wide to clear your optic.

I was in the same boat a couple of months ago, except I wanted something a little smaller, along the lines of 24-inches in length. Another poster here, Dogzilla, tipped me off to Rampart Int'l (they're tucked away in the dealer forum section somewhere). Several cases there that you should look at, in the SERT line. Not exactly cheap, but the one I eventually got from them is exceptionally well made, and the service was excellent...so much so that I intend to order another one very shortly.

Right now I use the soft case that came with my Tavor. Unfortunately it is just a bit too small when you have a scope or RDS attached, and I can't close the zipper fully. I've been looking at the Sert cases, particularly the 30" one (http://shop.rampartcorp.com/product_p/30-tcc.htm).

SERT 36" case from Rampart. The case is actually a couple inches shorter on the inside so you can`t use the 30" one. They aren`t cheap but their good quality and should fit with any optic you choose to mount on it.
The 4 velcro attach points on the inside are fully adjustable to accommodate any configuration you have.

As I replied to the other thread, I'm using a UTG Alpha Battle Carrier, and it fits my Tavor with the 1-4x Leupold on it just perfectly. In fact, I can have both my Tavor and a 12.5" barreled Grizzly in there with no problems. The blue and black colour scheme and lack of Molle webbing makes it fairly discreet also. Mine is the 34" version.

Thanks guys, just the information I was looking for. Yep, once you put an optic on top, the 'so so' Tavor case is not very good.

I don't mind spending a few dollars to fit and protect my fairly expensive little 'toy'. I really like the design and looks of the UTG carrier. May have to order one of those up. I should be able to fit either my Tavor or 12.5" AR in it.

My 16" AR fits into a 34" case snugly...so I think your SBR would have plenty of room in the 34" UTG Alpha.
