Howdy.
I've borrowed a Tavor from a colleague who never got around to taking that horrible reflex sight off because he didn't have a barrel wrench.
I've refrained from putting any great effort into disassembly because I would need a riser in order to put a scope on it, and I'm not about to order away for a riser for a borrowed rifle.
Looking at the rail on the fore end after removing it, I notice that the screws don't anchor into anything but the rail itself, and the screws (and clips) are spaced the same as the mounts for the reflex sight. This leads me back to the question posed in the title: will this rail attach to the mounts for the reflex sight?
I figured it'd be prudent to see if anybody could provide a definite answer before I invest time in trying to fabricate a barrel wrench (I don't want to mangle my buddy's rifle with a screwdriver or something else that doesn't properly fit).
Thanks.
